License copies
You need a copy of the receiving dealer's license before you ship (27 CFR 478.94). An approved copy is shared with every Rollmark shop that ships to that dealer, so you rarely have to ask.
Copy status
| Status | Means |

| On file | Approved for this license term. Open it to view or download. Each view is logged. |
| In review | Someone uploaded a copy. Rollmark staff review it before it counts. |
| Asked | The dealer was emailed a link to claim its free Find an FFL listing, which sends the copy. |
| Not on file | No copy yet. |
When there's no copy
- Upload one you have. It's stored privately and reviewed before it counts.
- Ask the dealer. One email asking them to claim their listing. It never names the item, the buyer, the price or a serial number.
Renewals
A copy belongs to one license term. When ATF's monthly list shows the license renewed, the old copy stops counting until a new one is approved.
Copies open through a link that lasts five minutes. They're never public.
